When the official servers went dark, the highways on Koinonia fell silent. As a group of passionate drivers who grew up with this game, we refused to let our favorite MMORPG fade into history. Drift City Origin brings back the classic world of Mittron Island - restored, rebalanced, and completely free for everyone.
Drift City Origin is running on a custom game server that we've worked on for years. We're not bound to the usual limitations of a proprietary server - new cars, new game modes, new tracks in the Battle Zone, everything is possible!
Managed by experienced players and guided by a strong community. Every decision we make - whether thats for events, future content, even game balance - is made hand in hand with the community.
While the basics of the game still apply, the team and the community worked towards creating the ultimate modern version of the game. This introduced a lot of reworks and rebalances that helped to shape the game into what it is today!
There's no limit to drift boosting - a fan favourite from Stage 1 brought back to the modern times. You're free to chain drift boost after drift boost after drift boost. No more locking!
Due to the server being our own work, we're able to modify mechanics in essentially any way we'd like to! Take Dockings for example - in Drift City Origin, you're able to combine Dockings to upgrade them to higher levels! ... or how about completely new delivery missions or even Battle Zone tracks?
